Vital Theatre Company is no stranger to the world of theater, but they are relatively new to Lancaster's theater scene.
It's originally a New York-based theater company known for its children's theater productions, like "Pinkalicious" and "Fancy Nancy."
With New York's theater scene severely impacted by COVID-19 and its related shutdowns, Vital Theatre Company founder Stephen Sunderlin decided it would be worth trying out a different theater scene in addition to its off-Broadway shows still held in New York.

‘Fancy Nancy’ Set to Become Disney Junior Movie, TV Series

“Fancy Nancy” is about to step up her game in a wide-ranging deal with Disney.
Disney Junior has cut a deal with HarperCollins Children’s Books for rights to the hugely successful book series about a plucky little girl who likes to be “fancy” in all aspects of her life. Disney Junior plans an animated telepic and series adaptation, targeted to premiere in 2017. The pact also calls for a host of merchandising tie-ins to be handled by Disney’s formidable consumer products operation.
